Privacy Policy

Golden Key Realty Group LLC, doing business as Golden Key Group (“Golden Key Group”, “we”, “us”, “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.mygoldenkeygroup.com, our agent portal at app.mygoldenkeygroup.com, and the text messages we send.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to do our work:

Information you give us. Your name, email address, mobile or landline number, and anything you write when you use a contact form, request information about a property, or apply to join the brokerage.
Information from our agents and staff. If you are a licensed agent or an employee, we collect the details needed to onboard and support you, including licensing information, documents you upload, and the mobile number you choose to enroll for security codes.
Technical information. Standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, used to keep the site working and secure.
Information about properties. Listing details and photos come from the multiple listing service (MLS). They describe properties, not you.

How we use your information

To respond to your questions and connect you with an agent.
To provide real estate services and fulfill a transaction you are part of.
To operate our agent portal, including sending login verification codes.
To send operational notices to agents and staff, such as meeting room bookings and onboarding reminders.
To meet our legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations as a real estate brokerage.

Cookies and tracking

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), to measure and improve our advertising. When you visit, the pixel lets Meta set a cookie and receive information about your visit: the pages you view, that you sent a form (but not what you typed in it), your browser and device, and your IP address. Meta may combine this with what it already knows about you, under its own privacy policy, to show our ads to people likely to be interested and to tell us how well they work. You can control this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or block it with your browser's cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the pixel does not load. We use no other advertising cookies or third-party analytics. The site also sets a cookie when a member of our staff signs in to its administration area, to keep them signed in.

To understand how the site is used, our own server keeps daily totals: how many visits and page views each page had, the website a visit came from (for example google.com), whether the device was a phone, tablet or computer, and how many forms were sent. These are counts only. We do not store your IP address, your browser details, or any identifier, so the totals cannot be traced back to you, and they are deleted after about 13 months. Your browser keeps two technical flags in session storage (not cookies) that are cleared when you close the tab: one so a visit is counted once, and one so the site can reload itself cleanly after an update. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, you are not counted at all.

Text messaging and your mobile number

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party or affiliate.

We send text messages only to people who have provided their own mobile number and confirmed it. Agents and staff enroll a number themselves in the agent portal’s two-factor authentication screen and confirm a code sent to that number; no number is enrolled without that confirmation. Messages are limited to login verification codes and operational notices about the brokerage.

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

We share mobile numbers with our messaging provider solely to deliver these messages. That provider may not use the numbers for any other purpose.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Meta Pixel described under Cookies and tracking, which shares information about your visits to this site with Meta for advertising, we share it only with parties who help us operate — our website and portal hosting and databases, the email service that delivers contact-form and application messages to our office, our text messaging provider, and photo and document storage — and only so they can perform that service for us. We also share information when the law requires it, when a real estate transaction requires it (for example with a title company, lender, or the multiple listing service), or when you ask us to.

When you choose "Get directions" for one of our offices, the link opens Google Maps, which handles that visit under Google’s own privacy policy. Other links to outside websites work the same way: we are not responsible for how those sites treat your information.

How long we keep information

Messages and applications you send through our forms are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you, to work with you, and to meet our business, licensing, and record-keeping obligations as a real estate brokerage. After that we delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

How we protect information

Our portal requires a password and supports two-factor authentication. Sensitive records, including payment details supplied by agents, are encrypted. Access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and review them regularly.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop receiving those emails.
Email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first. Some records must be kept by law, and we will tell you if that applies.

Children

Our site and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the site.
